Does Chiropractic Work?

Does Chiropractic work? That is a question we at The Specific Chiropractic Centers hear all the time. Some might think it’s a weird question but it isn’t weird at all. Like anything you buy….especially a service you want it to work or make sure it works before purchasing!

Countless clients and us can without a doubt tell you that Chiropractic works!

We have seen people get better from depression, neck and back pain, headaches, migraines, vertigo, anxiety, ADHD, ADD, autism, anger, digestion issues, and many other things.

What’s interesting about that list is a lot of people wouldn’t constitute a lot of those disorders to be “chiropractic conditions.” If that’s the case then how are people seeing relief?

People are seeing results because what we do at The Specific Chiropractic Centers-Lake Country is work with the nervous system. We focus on the nervous system because that’s what controls everything in the body. If the body isn’t working how it’s supposed to be then symptoms will be experienced. Our goal is to make the focus on the functioning of the body. If we see that the body isn’t working how it’s supposed to be then we provide a very specific adjustment.

Feeling Follows Function

Once the body is working correctly then you start to feel better. This allows Chiropractic to be able to help a variety of conditions. We aren’t necessarily treating anything directly but because we are focusing on the functioning of the body it allows a myriad of symptoms/conditions to be resolved.

So chiropractic definitely works, it just depends on what you’re looking for. Sometimes there are certain symptoms that don’t go away from chiropractic. Symptoms can be experienced because of other issues going on in the body other than nervous system issues such as heart attack symptoms, diabetes symptoms, and so on. What we do have to realize is that those bigger problems are often due to a nervous system issue and the body not functioning correctly.

Chiropractic always works, no matter what!
